These are super easy to make, delicious and wholesome and a great alternative to the ultra-processed options in the supermarket. The recipe was given to me by one of my Healthy Blend customers, but I think you could make it with the other Blends too.

Ingredients:

1 cup honey

1 cup peanut butter - we used crunchy

3 cups Te Atatu Toasted Healthy Blend

Method:

Line a 20 x 25cm container with baking paper.

Place the muesli in a large mixing bowl.

Then put the honey and peanut butter in a saucepan and gently bring to a simmer while stirring, continue simmering for 3 - 5 minutes until the mix thickens.

Pour over the muesli and mix well, then pour the mix into your prepared container and spread evenly. It is quite a thick mixture, so I used the back of a spoon to push it down and make it even.

Chill until set and cut into bars. store in a sealed container in your fridge.
