It's autumn here and with that comes pears and feijoas, I have been lucky to be given both from local gardens, in season and local are really my favourite fruits!

So I have created a delicious crumble to celebrate.

Ingredients:

Topping:

1½ Cups Te Atatu Toasted Peach and Passionfruit Paleo muesli

1 Tablespoon water

1 Tablespoon honey or your choice of sweetener

1 Tbsp coconut oil, softened

 

Base:

2 pears
4 feijoas
1 Tablespoon honey or your choice of sweetener

1 Tablespoon water

 

Method:

Preheat the oven to 160ºC fan bake and place four oven-proof ramekins on an oven tray.

Place the base ingredients in a pot and cook gently until softened, divide evenly between the 4 ramekins.

 

To make the topping place all topping ingredients in a blender and pulse until well mixed but still chunky, divide evenly between the 4 ramekins on top of the pear and apple mix.

Place in the oven and cook for approximately 30 minutes or until nicely browned on top and bubbling around the edges.

 

Serves: 4

Serve with a dollop of Greek yoghurt.
