Resource Consent Planner Mel Rodger lives in Karaka, Auckland with her husband Simon, her daughters Olivia, 10, Charley, five, and her son Bohdi, three.
A typical morning at my house is…Busy! But first coffee…then getting the kids ready for school and daycare. Everyone gets dressed and has breakfast. They brush their teeth and hair while I make their lunches. Then we pile into the car and do the drop-offs. Then I head back home to start work.
My favourite Te Atatu Toasted cereal is…the Original Blend.
I love Te Atatu Toasted cereal because… When I met Clare, I really liked her and her brand and wanted to support her. I love that it's healthy, easy and convenient, and it tastes great. I love the measuring cup so you know exactly much to use each day. I love that it’s
automatically delivered to my home. I'm also terrible at skipping breakfast, so having something healthy but convenient in the cupboard makes me want to participate in eating breakfast.
I eat it with…a few cornflakes, yoghurt and dried raisins and apricots.
The best thing about signing up for a subscription to Te Atatu Toasted is… the fact the subscription automatically renews each month and the cereal turns up on your doorstep. It's so easy! I also like that you can skip a month if you want to.
If I’m not eating cereal for breakfast, I’m having…a piece of toast with butter and vegemite.
My next holiday will be to…Dunedin to see my family.
My favourite restaurant or café is…My favourite cafe is Little Luscious in Ellerslie and my favourite restaurant is Bazza's Steakhouse in Pukekohe.
I believe the key to good health/wellbeingis…Eat in moderation, drink plenty of water, get some exercise, and get eight hours sleep. Don't stress the small stuff. Have fun with your family - the cleaning will always be there tomorrow.
My goal for 2022 is…a personal goal is to get fit and walk the Tongariro Crossing. And in general to spend more time with my family and be happy and healthy.
